The Sword of the Sun is a short stop motion film very freely inspired by Italo Calvino’s novel Mr Palomar. Mr. Palomar finds interest in everything that comes into his sight, from a commonplace mismatched slipper to a beautiful starry sky. From his meticulous and empathetic observation of the world, he draws cascading reflections and tries to define his place in it, not without self-mockery.
