A bourgeois family is confronted with an impending loss that has each family member dealing with a sudden resurfacing of long forgotten (or suppressed) guilt and grief. This abruptly exposed underbelly soon starts literally eating away at the family and their sanity. Having met during their years in acting school, Maxie and Marcel quickly found out they share a particular passion: the love for genre films. Be it bloody, unsettling, neon lit, campy, experimental or simply out of the ordinary – these two will probably love it.
